Review : Nice coat.
This is the information I couldn't find before I purchased the coat. With a fully charged 20v. 1.5ah battery I ran the heater for about 5.5hrs on high (better then I figured it would be). Don't know about the low and medium settings (why would you ever need those). After wearing it for awhile I checked the temp of the inside of the coat at one of the heating elements, 102 degrees. Warm, but not heating pad warm. I haven't tried a larger battery, but I'm not sure a 3 or 4ah battery would fit in the pocket. The battery pocket is on your left hip at about 7:30. Pretty bulky, and you have to work around it getting in and out of a vehicle. Don't think it would bother anyone if working outdoors. Size is about right. I wear a large in most every coat I own.
The zipper is junk, but to be honest zippers in general have gone that way over the last few years. I wish someone made a high quality industrial zipper for work clothing. I really like the coat. I find myself not taking it off when...
