About Louisville Slugger
In many ways, the rich 120-year history of the Louisville Slugger baseball bat began in the talented hands of 17-year-old John A. "Bud" Hillerich. Bud's father, J.F. Hillerich, owned a woodworking shop in Louisville in the 1880s when Bud began working for him. Good L Screen
The L screen arrived promptly. It is very easy to assemble (no nuts & bolts) just slide the parts together and they snap into place. Then you just pull the netting over top. The metal has a nice finish. Once put together it is stabile and solid.After having this in my backyard for a year, we moved it over to our Little League batting cage. The more I use it the more impressed I am. This L screen is lighter than the steel types and doesn't slide apart making it so much easier to move in the cage or even out to the field when needed. IMO more leagues should look at this option for their batting cages. Update: It survived the full LL season with flying colors. What's not to like!
Solid Protection, Easy to Assemble, Minor Flaws, Good Purchase
My high school ballplayer and I are very happy with this purchase. The L-Frame screen is large and offers good protection. It assembles fairly quickly. The net is good quality and slides over the frame easily. If you haven't assembled an L-screen before, you'll want to be sure to use the supplied rope to secure the bottom of the net to the bottom rail, otherwise the ball can come through very hot.

I can't give it five stars because they could have engineered this to have fewer parts; it is a little heavy; and doesn't come with a bag. I have an old catchers bag that I may use to haul it around, but laying it over a couple bungee ties (really any straps) and bundling it up will keep it together for a short carry from the parking lot. The box that it came in is just the factory packaging, and mine arrived with a six inch by five inch hole torn out --- but all the parts were present.
You get what you pay for....
This L-Screen is probably most appropriate for ages 15 and under. The net and tubing are good quality for all users but the way the screen is assembled does not adequately link the various parts making the screen quite flimsy. Out of the three I ordered 2 had missing or damaged parts and the boxes the screens were delivered in were substantially damaged.

Pros: Simple, Quick Assembly; Adequate tubing and net

Cons: Poor design allows for too much play at joints making the screen very flimsy.

Sturdy and durable!
I purchased this mat for my 2 boys (10 and 8) who recently began taking gymnastics lessons. My boys were enjoying the lessons and wanting to practice their handstands and cartwheels at home. I used to be a gymnast as a child so I had an idea of the quality of mat I was looking for--after doing an internet search (I live in a small town and this type of mat is not available locally), I found this particular mat. It is getting use on a daily basis, either for practicing gymnastics or for some impromptu wrestling. It is holding up well under their activities, and I have even tried a few things on it myself! It does have the ability to velcro to additional mats either along the side or end-to-end, and I am considering purchasing a second mat to give us even more tumbling space length-wise. This is a great mat for practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
This mat is fantastic. I am going to buy a second one since it includes Velcro so they can be connected. I am using it for rolling Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at home and it's perfect. The quality of the cushion is solid but not overly firm. I don't feel like I sink into the mat yet it doesn't hurt my back when I roll around. Another plus is the exterior material of the mat feels high-quality and doesn't cause any burn on my feet, knees, or elbows.
Good tumbling pad
Another reviewer was concerned about the mats being made in China and the quality of the foam interior. This mat is also made in China, but it doesn't concern me based on the description being closed cell polyethylene foam, and using the mat for a few weeks now. It holds up well, has a firm foam that gives in enough for comfort, but not so much to affect balance adversely, and the vinyl exterior is a good mixture of smooth (so you can slide when you want) with a little grip (so you don't slip and fall when you don't want). Great beginner's tumbling mat, it's not too heavy to move around, and the velcro is very sticky, so make sure your floor is vacuumed. The shipping was more than I would expect based on the size and weight, but overall a good value to me. I believe this mat will get a lot of use in the years to come.

Pleasant surprise
My biggest fear in buying this hoop for my son was that I'd teach him a few new bad words if he helped me assemble it. I am NOT "handy" and have "learned" over the years that instruction manual authors and illustrators undergo special training so they can convey ambiguous and deceptive directions.

But the assembly was such a pleasant surprise and the end product so awesome, I had to post a review (my first ever, for anything).

The end product is attractive and solid. We live in the Midwest and I was afraid the large backboard would act like a sail on windy days. Being able to lower the backboard when not in use is a big plus and it's very easy to do. We filled the tank with water and, as per the directions, 2 gallons of antifreeze since we live in a cold climate. I believe that will work fine, but the day after final assembly the weather forecast called for 40-50 mph gusts. So being a bit of a ninny, I put an extra 150lbs of ballast (bags of rock salt) on...

I would recommend this systems to anyone who wants to avoid a cheap basketball system. I bought this goal from Amazon and it was delivered within a few days. I read the instructions, so I thought thoroughly but missed focusing on the bouncing of the pole part. Please know it is not necessary to bounce the pole for as long as I did. The instructions say subtely, that when the poles stop moving you can stop. They should be about 1.5 inches from the sticker that tells which pole is which (i.e., bottom, top, etc.). I figuered that out and moved through the directions. Everything went as designed. Be advised again, this sytem is heavy which is great because you know you have a quality system. The instructions will tell you there will be parts left over because the bolts, screws etc., that come with it fit several systems. I think I used just about everything. The directions also talk about using a saw horse to assist with the assembly. I have standard size saw horses and they...
Parts do not work together
Do not buy. This would really not be that hard to assemble, if it came with the correct parts. A few pages into the manual it states that if there are missing parts, do not go back to the store, and it gives an 800 number to call. When I called they were apparently not surprised by the call and sent me all the parts I asked for on a no questions asked basis. The parts arrived within 4-5 days. The metal holes cut in the backboard frame don't take the 1/2" x 8" hex bolts that comes with the set, because after the first inch or so of thread, the bolts are threadless and larger than 1/2", so you either have to drill the frame (we were not equipped to drill metal) or go to the hardware store to buy slightly thinner bolts, which we did which worked. When we finished and got to the end of the instructions, there was a note that stated it was normal to have parts left over after assembly, because the kit was meant for several models. Good in ground for kids
Small backboard and 3" pipe makes this one a fairly easy DIY install.
Contrary to the instructions, I suggest you attach the backboard and fill the pole with concrete after you install the pole. Making those changes I was able to install as a 1 man job with a 6ft ladder. Otherwise you are dealing with trying to get an unbalanced, top heavy pole system that weighs over 125lbs into a small hole in the ground with a plastic rim that probably won't take that much side pressure if you miss.

Sturdy, but not super heavy duty, this system can take a reasonable amount of abuse but probably not every day heavy play from older kids or adults.

The ground sleeve makes for easy installation but also adds a little wiggle to the board.

Clear backboard, and small size, makes this system a nice, unobtrusive addition to your driveway.
Economical choice for in-ground basketball hoop
I was skeptical of any basketball hoop for under $200, but this Spalding model has proven to be a solid economical choice. The assembly and set-up time took me longer than anticipated, and filling the pole with concrete was not an easy task (don't follow the directions, set the pole up first, then dump the concrete in), but overall I am satisfied with the purchase.

Word of caution: the height adjustment handle requires two hands (one to pull down and one to slip a locking pin in place), and is quite difficult for smaller individuals. Take this into consideration before purchasing.
Great B-Ball system easy to use worth the price
Spalding 88351 In-Ground Basketball System with 44-Inch PolyCarbonate Backboard Great purchase -- the only problem is trying to fill the tubes with concrete -- it's almost impossible to fill them as shown that's the only problem if I was doing it again which I should never have to -- I would fill it after standing it up in the holder. Just cover the backboard & parts with cloth or something heavy that won't rip & pour the concrete in! Also possible leave the tape on & put it in the sleeve so the concrete won't stick to the concrete in the bottom of the hole, in case you would have to remove it someday! It's tough either way, but it's so hard to lift after filling to get it in the ground adapter sleeve, & there is just as much concrete to clean up the way they show it too. Also mix the concrete very thin so it will pour rather than clump because it tends not to flow to good! The Grandkids & myself have been playing...

Fortunately when this system dropped in price I had at least decided on a Lifetime system. The big seller for us is the adjustable technology used. It's a squeeze trigger that allows the backboard to glide up or down. It does take some time to put together but it's easy to do if you follow the instructions. You'll have many hours of enjoyment.
Good end result - assembly is brutal
The title of this review says it all. While we're very happy with the finished product; it was JOKE to put together. I don't mean the funny kind, either! I had two buddies help and after 6 hours, we finally managed to finish it. Part of the problem is that the instructions are vague and the drawings too small. The other problem that we ran into was that the instructions had been mangled by the large parts in the box and we were actually missing a few pages. We found them in the box after making several mistakes and having to take apart and reassemble several sections two and three times.

We actually used the Chinese instructions after that as we found the pictures to be much more clear and detailed.

That said, we are very happy with the final result. We feel it's super easy to adjust the height and I don't feel it wobbles much at all (as another reviewer commented). It does definitely have MADE IN CHINA stickers all over it, and is not made in the USA (again,...
Good, But It Does Wobble Alot
Believe it or not, we had 5 people over to put this together. Only a couple at a time could gather around the instructions, and actually do the putting together, because you had to put it together in series, step by step. It looks really good, and is fun for my daughter and all the neighborhood kids. It is very easy for an adult to raise it up and down, and not quite so easy for the little ones. On the negative side, the kids don't mind, but man does it wobble anytime the ball hits it. I was surprised by that. For some reason, I thought it was Made in the USA when I made the purchase, but it most defititely is MADE IN CHINA, and says so all over the product.

Love this diffuser!
I love these so much that this is my third one! I put one in my bedroom, one in the living room, and one upstairs. I love how it hardly uses any oil if I set it to come on for 5 minutes and off for 20 minutes. It does sound like a fish tank if turned up too high, but I don't see a reason to turn it up that high. With it coming on and off there seems to be enough smell lingering until it comes back on again. I like that it comes with the extra bottle to change out for another oil. Easy to screw directly onto the oil. I have another diffuser that uses the water vapor and it uses a lot more of my oils up, but I do like it for my kids when they are sick because it acts like a humidifier. This one does not put out any moisture. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Love it!

Great product, albeit a little flimsy
I bought this product to dry out my hockey gear between games during a tournament. Set up was pretty straight forward and it worked as advertised.
A couple of things that I would like to see improvement on:
-The legs don't have a very secure, positive locking attachment to the heater mounting point. You are never entirely sure if the legs are in securely and they don't stay in if you have to move the whole assembly around.
-the carrying case is adequate, but I don't suspect it will last long. It can be a little tricky getting everything stuffed in the bag and the zippers are pretty poor quality.

Overall, I am happy with this purchase, but It definitely could be better.
Works well, zipper just ok
The actual dryer is wonderful! But the zipper began to have issues after the second time it was used. It seems to be rather flimsy, so we will try to contact the vendor and see if it is defective.

Gets the job done
I charge my Benjamin Marauder to approximately 2800 psi, shoot until about 2000 psi and then recharge. This pump gets the job done, and well at that. I weigh approximately 200 lbs and use the downward force of my body to compress the pump. It takes somewhere between 30 and 50 pumps to get the 800 psi I need for a full recharge. I have been using this pump for approximately a month now and have not experienced any problems with it.
Could be better but it works fine
Things I liked:This pump works well. While I know these things are not cheap, this pump is fairly well made and has a nice bleeder valve. You will obtain large muscles from using this thing for sure! In my opinion, a hand pump is a must have for PCP rifles, even if you own a tank. With a rifle like the Marauder, this pump will take you from around 1800 psi to 2800 psi in around 85 to 90 pumps. You will need to take break when you are done!

Things I would have changed:With time, I feel the price on these hand pumps, along with other manufactures will likely fall a bit. This would be a much better price point in the 129.00 range as opposed to 179.00. Even still, despite many reviews, this pump is fairly well made.

What others should know:You will want to avoid over use of this pump by letting it get too warm. I you take very large shot strings and deplete the pressure in your rifle too much, you might want to fill part way, take a break to let the pump shaft and...
Great pump if you pump slowly
This pump was used and arrived in non-working condition. This was expected as there are numerous online complaints about failures of this pump. I called the manufacturer, Sun Optics (817 783 6553) and explained the problem. The Sun Optics tech was very courteous and explained that most of the failures were due to pumping too fast, causing excess heat and moisture in the pump.

Sun Optics quickly sent a replacement set of O-rings and emailed instructions. I replaced the damaged O-ring and the pump is now working very well to pressurize a Benjamin Marauder. I typically start at 2800 psi and shoot 30 rounds. It takes about 60 strokes of this pump to bring the pressure back up -- about 2 minutes of slow pumping.

Great for practicing kicking/passing alone
One of the problems with certain sports is in order to practice effectively you really need to do so in groups or teams. One of the sports where this is especially true is football. It is extremely difficult to practice passing without having someone to catch, and the same with kicking. The SKLZ Quickster 4-in-1 Multi skill football training net is a perfect solution to that problem. It is well made, durable, portable, and comes with a nice carry bag which makes it easy to carry to a local park or field for practice.

Great product!!
I have been searching for a good speed bag platform for quite some time. I finally found one. This platform is 1.5" thick and isn't that skimpy .25" thick platform that is sold for around a hundred bucks. It was rather simple to install, although it didn't come with hanging instructions. It took me about 30 minutes to install it, if that. Once I got it up, I attached a Title Boxing speed bag (small), and it rebounds much better than I anticipated. The construction is super heavy duty. It weighs about 50lbs and doesn't vibrate much at all. The bag is super responsive. And when you are looking for a a speed bag platform, response is what you judge the product by. So I definitely recommend this platform to anyone looking for a good quality workout.
Very solid
I just mounted this last weekend, it is heavy duty and doesn't shake or vibrate when using. I had a cheap mount previously and it had this problem. The drum is nice and thick and looks like those on more expensive models. Only complaint is the chain link for the swivel. It is a bit of a pain to install the bag the first time, and I wouldn't ever want to remove it. The swivel is dual action which is tricky at first, but I seem to be getting use to it. The mount is adjustable which is nice if you dont get it mounted exactly at the correct height The mount is very heavy so you'll need some help with the installation. I'd wished I had bought this mount earlier, it is well worth the price and I'd recommend it.
Solid, reliable piece of equipment
I am not a boxer or martial arts expert, but I purchased this speed bag platform for use in my own basement because I am triathlete seeking alternative forms of cardio type exercise in the winter because the pools are crowded and stationary bikes and treadmills are boring. In my past experience at gyms and retail stores, I have used speed bags on cheap, thin platforms and also those on solid platforms. It was based upon this experience that I decided on this heavier platform.

I was able to install it in an afternoon. Assembling it was very simple. The more difficult part was mounting it on the wall, which in my case was a cinder block wall covered with a thin layer of wood, then a drywall nailed on the wood. Rather than tearing off the wood and drywall, I simply screwed some 2" x 6" and 2" x 8" scraps over the drywall using 4" concrete screws. I then attached the platform to these boards with its existing hardware. Upon completion, it appears very solid, as if strong...

I was looking for a net to play street hockey with. I have a big all metal net I use for ice hockey but I wanted a lighter net to play street (ball) hockey with in the summer. I was going to make my own but after reading about this net I got it. This is exactly what I was looking for it's great. The metal and the net are both great for street hockey. This product MIGHT stand up to a roller hockey puck and it WOULDN'T be able to take an ice hockey puck. The packaging is great and the goal was easily put together. I store it apart in my garage and when I want to play I throw it in my car, drive to the court, and put it together. After we're done I take it back apart and it goes right back in the car. OK, but pucks went through the net
I use this for practicing ice hockey wrist shots in my garage.
Was easy to put the goal/net together and the design feels robust.
After wrist shooting some ice hockey pucks I noticed that some pucks went through the net, maybe 1 of 20 went through and I use standard 6oz ice hockey pucks. My skill level is novice and I don't have the hardest shot.
Other than that its a great goal/net.
Worthless if you use pucks

Lifetime stood by the product warranty on our older version of this hoop.
We have an older version of this basketball hoop. In fact it is 4 years and 10 months old. This is important because the warranty was five years. At 4 years and 10 months the backboard cracked when the kids were using it. A large hole developed after a few more shots. I emailed the company, sent in some photos (as requested) and the Amazon receipt (another nice thing about Amazon, they keep track of when you bought stuff for you) of the backboard. They shipped me a new backboard free of charge in a few days. It is nice to see a company that stands by its products. They were cheerful about replacing it.

Other than that it has served us well, never fallen over even in 45 MPH winds and the base and pole were still in fine shape after 4 plus years.
Overall a good buy...
This was the cheapest 48" goal I could find anywhere on the web and in town. For the money the goal is good but does have some issues. It took me about 2 hours to assemble it. Assembly is pretty clean but some additional close up pictures of some of the steps would be helpful. If you decide to use water for the base make sure to put water in after you have placed the goal in its final resting spot. The plastic base is not built with a very strong thick grade of plastic. As a result of trying to move the goal with the water in the base we sprung a leak and I had to patch the plastic base with glue. Moving it on flat surface even with water also will prevent this type of damage from occurring. It rolls fine with water in the base but going over driveway curb ends, etc. can create a problem for the base.

Not included and which I feel is very important is a top pole cap. They talk in the manual about making sure there are no rust spots on the pole and if there are any...
Good hoop
Couldn't have asked for a better hoop in this price range.

I'm only pointing out a few things that I thought was useful but couldn't figure out when I was deciding on which to buy:

-I filled with water, and it is just fine no chance of it falling over
-Yes you do bend a piece of plastic for the mounting/adjusting mechanism of the backboard->pole, but it is mainly a sliding guide, and doesn't seem like it will break over time
-Easy adjusting with a broom stick. Push the rim itself to raise, push the metal behind the backboard to lower
-Backboard does wobble a bit when you hit the backboard, but not to the point where it gets annoying (you can still shoot bank shots). More motivation to shoot swishes anyway
-Backboard does not "deaden" the ball that badly
-Wheels on the front so you can tilt and move the hoop after you fill it, though it is pretty heavy even with just water
-Installation took me awhile, but is not hard. Read the...

Lifetime Basketball System
I ordered this item for my grandson and he has enjoyed it so much. I was pleased to receive this item and found that it could be assembled very easily and was very sturdy. I recommend this for anyone with children 6 years of age or more.
Not completely satisfied...
Good looking Basketball System and the kids have a lot of fun with it.
Be careful when you assemble it because the instructions are only figures with no explanations. The tricky part is when a tube has to slide into another tube. There is just one image and there are no labels on the tubes to help understanding the step.
The other problem is that when the ball hits the backboard it doesn't bounce because the backboard is not rigid enough and it absorbs the shot.
Other problem is the base, not that strong, it's better not to step on it!
Great Value
Purchased this as a backyard practice goal for 5-10 year olds. It is great for that purpose, but might not be quite sturdy enough for older players. Cannot beat the price.

Phenomenal Product!!!
I purchased this for my son for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. We set it up in his room and he used it all winter. He must have taken over a thousand swings the first week. He says it was the best gift ever!

The frame is solid and very well constructed. Took me 30 minutes to set it up and he takes swings all the time. No need to hassle with a tee and chase baseballs around.

Alright. Long story short, I absolutely love this basketball hoop. The quality and craftsmanship is exactly what I was both looking for and expected when it comes to durability and appearance. I was hesitant at first upon reading the other reviews on this, however pretty much every hoop I looked through all had the same complaint: assembly. True, this would be quite the project for a single person to put up alone, but as long as you have at least two individuals who are somewhat handy, setup isn't that complicated (and can even be fun). I myself had two friends of mine (granted they are both majoring in engineering in college) come by to help me assemble it and within an hour and a half we had it up. I don't know about the individual who wrote that parts weren't there, because what came in the box was everything that was needed (we even ended up with a small quantity of spare parts)! I think what that reviewer meant is that you WILL need some tools for setup (not parts), like ladders,...
I love love love!!!
My boys love this goal, it's sturdy and very well built! They play on it every day! The back board is large and looks like a real goal in a gym! My neighbor put his goal up the same day but we were outside much longer putting all the final pieces together. Assembly will take a couple of people but LOOK THE RESULTS ARE WORTH IT!

After lots of searching the Internet and looking around town I picked this hoop. Overall as a driveway hoop I like it. I like it a lot, and don't think there is much to be gained at this price point.

I will be the first to admit that I am competitive. I really like racing with tasks. So upon reading the manual it says 2 hours for 2 competent adults. I see a challenge! I started the clock, opened the box and read the manual!! Those of you with XY chromosomes out there give us a bad rap by not reading (directions, maps, wife's shopping lists)!! The directions are good if you follow them.

+ They say sockets or open end wrenches...there is 1 step that requires a 1/2" socket. It is putting the plastic cover around the height adjustment bracket.
+ The location of that bracket is one thing I messed up on. I up it on the middle section, not the top section. There is an extra set of holes on the middle piece that I used, even though when I double check the manual,...

BEST product for teaching young players
I coach 2 youth club teams and I've recommended this rebounder to anyone that will listen. I have a 10 year old son and a 9 year old daughter and they have both used a Tekk Rebounder for the past year and a half. It allows them to work on very important aspects of their skills without the need of a partner. Both of my kids used to spend time juggling, and there are benefits to juggling, but using a rebounder improves the ability to receive and trap the ball much more, in my opinion. My girls team has 11 players, and 7 of the parents purchased a Tekk rebounder as Christmas presents this past year. The girls that have the rebounder have improved much more compared to the girls that didn't get one. You can buy a cheaper rebounder, but you get what you pay for. I bought another brand rebounder a couple of years ago that cost around $150, and it was a huge waste of money. The Tekk rebounder has the perfect tension in the net that delivers the ball back to the player at the perfect speed...

We received this product last month and my kids have been using it ever since. We play all types of sports in our house and each kid has been able to do his/her own thing on it. It's been great for soccer and basketball but it's also great for playing catch with a ball and glove and even lacrosse. It's come in useful when their father isn't home yet and they just want to throw and catch or use the lacrosse stick. I didn't grow up playing those sports so they get frustrated when I can't get the ball back to them! This Tekk thing gets it back everytime while I'm catching up on stuff I need to in the house. Having said that, we got this thing last month to get the kids off the couch and away from the video games. The kids recently got in a bit of trouble and I took away their video games and it didn't seem to phase them. I then threatened to take away their Tekk thingy outside and they lost it.
