Highly recommended for a portable baseball trainer
I have had and used this product for 2 years with no issues. It has been used for team training and warm ups and has outperformed everything out there. Yes, I've had to replace the ball, but that's expected with the amount of use/abuse this thing takes. It's perfect because it's an actual ball. It's sturdy, portable, and works like a charm. The muscle memory of a "flat plane" swing is phenominal. The kids learn to and want to swing and hit it flat so the ball wraps correctly and they can keep swinging. Awesome, awesome, awesome piece of equipment. This and the Bow Net Baseball/Softball Big Mouth Portable Net, with Pitching/Strike zone target, are 3 MUST HAVES for anyone with kids in baseball, softball along with a tee. Many other coaches have ended up buying those 3 after seeing/using my gear. 6 stars!
A Big Hit
I purchased this portable training system as a birthday gift for my 15 year old grandson who is a baseball fanatic. He loves it. When my eight year old grandson was visiting he tried it. He requested I buy it for him for his birthday which I did. He uses it all of the time.
Their parents agree that it provides great hitting practise. I was amazed that it appealed to such a wide age group.
Both gifts were a big hit (pardon the pun)!!!!
Wonderful training tool
I have a 9 year old. He had an erratic swing -- sometimes good, sometimes way off. He needed reps to work it out. We bought this thing hoping it would give him the reps he needed. It did. He's able to work by himself, and the tool gives him instant feedback. Hit the wire and you know it instantly. Hit the ball off the center, you know it. There is a clear difference between the sound of the ball hit well and when it's not. The wire also goes limp, forcing the hitter to restart the drill. He finds that a pain, which gets him to concentrate on his swing.
