Great for practicing kicking/passing alone
One of the problems with certain sports is in order to practice effectively you really need to do so in groups or teams. One of the sports where this is especially true is football. It is extremely difficult to practice passing without having someone to catch, and the same with kicking. The SKLZ Quickster 4-in-1 Multi skill football training net is a perfect solution to that problem. It is well made, durable, portable, and comes with a nice carry bag which makes it easy to carry to a local park or field for practice.
You can set it up down-range and begin running drills and passing (if you are accurate you won't have to pick up a bunch of footballs).
If your son or daughter is serious about football and has the need to practice alone -- this is a must have.
Great product 4 stars, as my only complaint is that it is a bit pricey (but it is well made and you can tell it will last).
This is No 1960s Larry Sherry Pitch-Back, That's For Sure!
When I was a kid growing up in southern California, baseball was king. And when my brothers and I were old enough to play organized baseball my dad brought home a brand new portable Larry Sherry Pitch-Back (for the uninitiated, Larry Sherry was a pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers--1958-1963). It was the 1960s and there was nothing available like it for individual youth baseball training (pitching, pop-ups and grounders). That simple metal-framed elastic net design certainly has gone through a lot changes since the one I used in my backyard.
SKLZ, a leader in sports training and equipment, has recently released their new training device they call the "SKLZ Quickster
