Review : Decent coat, lousy electric blanket
I work in an office, one which is perpetually too cold in the winter. Today was my first trial run with the new electric coat, and I can sum it up as "meh".

The coat itself is fine, roomy, and comfortable. Overall it's constructed well, though the zipper has a hard time engaging at the bottom. The battery charges up quickly and fits in a specially-constructed pouch in the back. While it's out of the way if you're standing, the battery will dig into your back somewhat if you're seated.

The biggest issue with this coat is also the only reason I bought it: the heating elements. There's only a few in the lower torso area, and even on the highest setting they don't get all that warm. To make things worse, the battery only lasts about 3.5 hours with the heaters on full. If you're hoping for an Electric Snuggie, this isn't it. The electric heating is more of a gimmick than anything.
